The Andaman & Nicobar are a group of islands at the juncture of the Bay of Bengal and Andaman Sea. The Andaman Islands are an archipelago in India’s Bay of Bengal. These roughly 300 islands are known for their palm-lined, white-sand beaches, mangroves and rain forested interiors. Surrounded with coral reefs that support marine life including sharks and rays, they're destinations for scuba diving and snorkeling. They're also popular for water skiing, windsurfing and fishing. Bharatpur beach is famous for its coral reefs and white shores. It’s located at the jetty near the Nail Island. Morning and evening of a day best time to visit this beaches. The morning time is especially good for the people who would like to go snorkeling and enjoy the view of the coral reefs located here. Because of the beauty of the reefs located here, Neil islands are often termed as the coral capital of Andaman. You can enjoy the beach simply by carrying a hammock and a book and enjoy the calm and cool sea breeze and indulge yourself. There are a number of benches for strollers to rest their feet and local vendors who sell coconut water.
Limestone caves located at the Baratang Island. Limestone caves are a must visit site for all the people who are planning their itinerary for the Andaman and Nicobar islands. While there is not much to see at the caves except for marveling at this natural wonder, the speed boat journey one takes is totally worth it. Here boat ride is covered with a canopy of the forest which is also a home to the indigenous ‘Jarwa’ tribe. The beach is situated around the distance of 12 kilometers from the Havelock islands and is a must visit site. Radhanagar beach located on the western coast of the Havelock Islands. You can enjoy elephant rides here. It is one of the most popular beaches in India and is termed as the best beach in Asia by TIME magazine in 2004.The water of this beach is like sparkling blue and devoid of any wave action. Viper Island is famous for the ruins of a jail that precedes the cellular jail or the Kaala paani. The jail was formerly used to incarcerate political prisoners and we can still see the ruins of the gallows at this island. The Viper Island gets its name from the snakes that inhabit the island. This location is one of the most important tourist destinations in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
